The News

I must vent out here regarding listening to the news. On my drive to work this morning, I had the news playing and was listening to current events. The latest in the news...A minister is preparing his church for sunday services. When he opens his front door he finds a shopping bag on his steps. So he takes it in assuming it is food or clothing left for the needy. When he unwraps three layers of bags, and then a shopping bag, he find NOT clothing or food BUT a dead baby. A mother left her newborn dead on the steps of a church!

I cannot even imagine a mother doing such things to a newborn when I have friends who would love to have a baby but Hashem does not feel it is the right time for them. And here you have these little children having babies and do not know what to do with them. I am besides myself. When I hear this I cry for the little baby who never had a chance and I cry harder for my friends and those whom I do not even know but hear the stories of their unsuccesful attempts to have children...or even one child.

Why does this happen? Why do women who want to have children do not have children and those who dont want to have children have? What is the Master Plan behind all this? It is hard to understand what Hashem plans for us. Why are His children suffering and crying and yearning when the others just throw away the gift of life? Why? Why? Why?
