Happiness
Happiness.
What is happiness? Who is truly happy? And why are there different things that make us happy? Why is that what makes me happy won’t make you happy and what makes you sad wont upset me?
Are we the same or are we different? Can we appreciate each other if we have different levels of emotions and understandings? If what makes you happy makes me sad, how can we be friends? How can I understand why you are happy if what makes you happy makes me sad? Why don’t you understand my happiness and forget your feelings for the sake of mine?
It happens. What you would never wish upon yourself happens to a good friend. Yet the friend is very happy in their own way and you being a good friend need to be happy as well. Would you ever want that to happen to you? Maybe. Maybe not. But in this case you are very happy for your friend, even if you would not wish this upon yourself. People need to think outside the box. Stop being selfish and think about others. Just because it does not make you happy, look and try to understand why it makes the other person happy. Forget yourself for a change. You are not important here. After all it is not you we are talking about. It is someone else. When it is you we are talking about, then you can take your sensitivity into play. Forget the "me" and the " I wouldn't" and "if I were you, I would...". This is not what a friend needs to hear. What a friend needs to hear is what you want to hear when you are in need of a friend. Keep that in mind the next time your friend is talking to you and asking you for advice.
For the you out there that I am talking to and you know who you are, (and I do not know if you are even reading this or not) I am truly happy for you. I might not wish it upon everyone, but for you and in your case I am truly happy and understand. You are a wonderful strong person! We are all happy once we think outside the box.
Goodluck and you should be with mazel with whatever you chose to do!
